A Deep Canyon

*i stand on a tiny one-person island of ice that i created in the middle of the calm river in the bottom of the canyon at night* -it is a full-moon so my water bending is at max power and very easy- *i wave my arms smoothly in different motions to make the water do as i please. i am in deep concentration as i practice shaping the water into various structures around me and then freezing them so they look like heavenly shrines as the moonlight sparkles on them*

Frost sits on the edge of the water on a rock, previously concealed in shadows, he watches in fascination of the manipulation of water, soon, he speaks. "hello" he says simply.

*i jump when i hear the voice and turn around, wide-eyed. i did not know anyone else was here and didn't notice anyone coming since i was so concentrated* h-hello?

Frost stands and steps out from the shadows, "greetings, i mean no harm, no need to be afraid" he replies, shifting his eyebrows slightlyto show that he meant no insult by saying she was afraid.

i was simply startled... *unfreezes the ice structures and the water finds its river with a great splash* gyah! *whips my ams to shake off some of the water and says under my breath* nice job akirei... *brings my knuckles together in front of my chest and wind swirls about me, drying me off. my hair whips out in all directions until i part my fists. then i turn to you* so, mister, how long had you been there? *gives you a quizzical look*

Frost smiles, "just observing this amazing talent you have" he replies defensively, "so, who are you?"

*moves my little iceberg to the opposite shore where my messenger bag is and picks it up* it is rude to ask one's name without first introducing themself...

Frost nods, "correct, but if i have no birth given name, then what is the point? my self given name is frost" he replies.

oh, im sorry to hear that. *stomps the ground and a pillar of rock launches me to your side of the river, and i land on my feet* im akirei *holds hand out*

Frost takes it and shakes it, "nice to meet you" he looks at the rock pillar.

*shakes your hand as well* same. *notices you looking at the pillar and looks at it too. stamps my foot and it slides back into the earth just as easily as it had come up* i need to remember to clean up my messes heh heh... *puts my arm behind my head*

Frost shakes his head, "i wouldn't call it a mess." he replies. "how do you do that?"

im an element bender. i was born doing this. *smoothly waves my arms from the river to up over my head and a blob of water is suspended in the air, following their motion*

Frost observes with interest, then laughs again, "i can no way do that" he says asdmittedly.

guess not... *moves the water back into the river* so what do you do then?

Frost shrugs as a tendril shoots from his shoulder and pierces a rock on the far side of the cavern, "that, i guess." he replies.

O_O oh.... my.... well, er. that is, rather intimadating to be honest... ^^"" where did you aquire such an attack?

Frost replies, "i had this power sice my first memory of a few months ago,i couldn't use it properly at first, but now i've mastered it, and i would like to expand my powers, could you attempt to teach me to use spells?"

Matt appears out of nowhere. He runs over to Akirei and kisses her, Then he rushes off disappearing in the distance.

well my bending isnt a sp-*is kissed* O///O ... *watches matt run until i can't see him anymore* ^///^ sorry, what was i saying?

Frost laughes and replies, "you were telling me something about your bending."
